From: rmcardle. The log file mRemoteNG.log is saved in the application directory. This may cause problems on Windows Vista and Windows 7 when User Account Control is enabled. MRemoteNG is a software program developed by Next Generation Software. The most common release is 1.72.5065.32737, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version).
- MRemoteNG is a multi tab remote connection manager. Just like RDCman it is a centralized tool that manages connections to remote systems. MRemoteNG has many features that RDCman does not have such as the ability to manage different connection types. In addition to RDP, it supports VNC, ICA, SSH, Telnet, RAW, Rlogin and Http/S.
- MRemoteNG is an improved version of mRemote and has additional features. Also, it fixes some bugs that was present in mRemote. Can create and manage multiple connections and supports tabs for an easier navigation.
